Cold Brew Specific FAQs

What is cold brew coffee?

Cold brew coffee describes coffee that has been brewed with cold water instead of hot water. The coffee steeps in cold water for 8+ hours extracting the flavor and caffeine while leaving certain acidic oils behind. This creates a cup that is less acidic and bitter which is pleasant to the palate and sensitive stomachs.

What’s the difference between cold brew and iced coffee?

Cold brew describes the process used to brew the coffee whereas iced coffee describes a coffee drink served cold over ice.

Can I drink cold brew coffee hot?

Yes! Cold brew coffee is delicious when heated up because of its rich flavor. It’s as easy as putting it in the microwave (90 seconds should do it) or heating it on the stove.

What kind of coffee beans are you using in your cold brew coffee?

We are using locally roasted organic arabica beans. We use dark roast beans for a rich flavored cup of coffee.

How long will my cold brew last?

Our black cold brew coffee is best consumed within 2-3 months as the flavor may start to taste stale. Our maple lattes are best consumed within 2 weeks of the date brewed given they contain dairy. We add expiration dates to all of our our bottles to take out the guess work.

How do I store my cold brew coffee?

Make sure you keep your coffee cold by keeping it in the refrigerator. This will help it keep its delicious flavor and prevent mold and other yucky stuff.

How do I best prepare Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate?

We encourage our fans to try the coffee as they normally would at home. If it is too strong, add some extra milk or water. We make a bold coffee so don’t feel bad if you need to dilute it a bit. It just lasts longer that way!

How do I sign Up?

Go to our shop and select the product you would like to receive and your desired frequency. Repeat this process for any additional bottles you would like to receive.

What are the perks to the subscription program?

We have a few! Sign up to receive a bottle (or two) every week or every other week and receive the following receive “perks”!

Where do I pick up my coffee?

All bottles will be placed in the "Online Pickup" cooler section on Thursday afternoon and can be picked up during our hours of 4-7pm on Thursdays, 9-6 on Fridays & Saturdays and 9-noon on Sundays. If for some reason you can make it, just let me know and we can work something out.

What happens if I need to cancel an order but don’t want to cancel my subscription?

If you will be out of town and need to cancel an order you can email us and we will cancel the order. It is as simple as that.

How do I cancel my subscription?

First off, we would be super sad to see you go. However, if you need to cancel a subscription, you can manage your account by clicking on “My Account” in the top right of the homepage. Sign in to your account and it will open up a side menu on the right. Select “my subscriptions” and then click on the order you’d wish to cancel. Click the red “cancel subscription” link at the bottom to process your cancellation. You can also contact us for assistance.
